WTF, It’s Hot
So I left San Jose, and it was a nice, breezy 85F or so. I board a plane from SJC to PDX, and arrive in Portland to find that… it’s HOT. It’s currently 94F in Portland and 83F in San Jose. WTF?
Brandi Carlile
Brandi Carlile came to Yahoo! for one of our Thursday “Music on the Green” concerts (live bands outside the cafeteria at lunchtime). She’s really quite good! I bought her self-titled CD, which both Adrienne and I really like (that’s pretty rare).
It’s excellent music, so go buy the CD!
WordPress Upgrade
I’ve gone ahead and upgraded WordPress to version 1.5, which has lots of nice new features. I’m still working on the theme, so ignore the default blue header. No, my site won’t look like everyone else’s. :)
Adventures at REI
Adrienne and I went to REI today to get some things, since they were having a sale. We wanted to get a hiking backpack for Adriennne (since I’ve already got one), a hitch-mounted bike rack, and a bike for me (since Adrienne’s already got one). We were successful in our venture, and got lots of good stuff.
