Mach 3 Patents

I was just glancing at this Gillette Mach 3 “M3 Power” box of razor refills. It contains the following text on the back, and overflowing on the bottom tab:

No less than 43 patents about a shaver and shaving blade. Absolutely amazing. (It took a long time to type all those!)

UAE to Cleveland flights?

A strange thing: There’s a 747-400 double-decker jumbo jet from the United Arab Emirates sitting at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. This is strange because, well, planes as big as 747-400’s don’t generally land at Cleveland at all, and there aren’t really any gates at Cleveland to accept such a large plane. It’s parked in front of the terminal and kind of off to the side, out of the way.

Very very strange.

M3 Power

So, I had to replace my razor since it was stolen, and on a whim, I purchased a Gillette M3 Power. It’s a strange beast. I don’t understand how a company with any idea of their customers could come out with something quite so stupid. In short, it’s a normal Mach 3 razor, but they’ve added a battery and an electric motor.

I would liken it to shaving with a vibrator.

It’s going back to Wal-Mart once I get home.

Happy to have GPRS

Funny enough, I never thought I’d be so happy to have Internet access with a 1s ping and less bandwidth than most dialups. At least it’s stable, reliable, and no ports are blocked. Unfortunately due to not being able to really get my mail for the past week and having to use a bad Pine to read it, I now have 2,200+ emails to download when I get home.

Oh well, at least I can use AIM and ICQ again, and I don’t have to feel the wrath of Microsoft Proxy Server.

Feeling Better!

I’m feeling much better today. I turned in early last night in order to get some more rest in the hopes that I’d feel better. It seems to have worked. Of course it could also be the Sprite and orange Fanta that I drank. :D

Tomorrow there is supposed to be some sort of organized tour for me so I can see some of the country. Armenia is pretty cool actually, and has a lot of history (allegedly it’s the first place in the world to accept Christianity).

So, on the schedule for tomorrow is going to be most likely some driving to get closer to Mt. Ararat, and visiting some OLD churches. Hope for good weather!
